Sheryl Frame, Director CSC Ltd
Sheryl began her career studying physiotherapy before moving into IT, which has led to her particular interest in the healthcare, biomed and technology sectors. She is committed passionately to the innovation principle that “tomorrow starts today” and has been a vocal and active advocate for the imperative to provide the best advice and assistance possible to enable innovation and business start-up success.
Sheryl “walks the talk” of commercialisation, as her many successes testify. Sheryl has since 2012 worked as a Commercialisation Adviser to Accelerating Commercialisation - a Federal Government initiative, which assists innovative new businesses in their transition from idea to commercial venture. She is imminently qualified to do so, having started a number of technology based businesses of her own, each of which resulted in a successful exit.
Sheryl is also vigorously committed to the representation of women in enterprise and government. She served on the Boards of AWISE (Australian Women in IT, Science and Engineering), Women in Technology, WA (WITWA) , SBE Australia and the Ear Science Institute of Australia Research Committee. Sheryl also served as a founding Director of StartupWA.
Sheryl was a 20in20 Winner at WITWA’s inaugural awards event in 2018 and she was recently recognised for her contribution to the ICT sector when she was named Australia’s ICT Professional of the Year for 2019 by the Australian Computer Society at their annual conference in Melbourne in December 2019.
